Yes! We have worked with clients throughout the United States and recently completed both full-service and virtual interior design projects in (Southern) California.

What design style or aesthetic do you work in? 

The Studio Strongwater aesthetic is modern and warm, with a refined mix of natural materials, expressive details, and purposeful design. Every project reflects a distinct point of view—yours—shaped by our expertise and brought to life through a highly personalized process.  

What is it like working together?

I’ll be your advocate and the ideal financial steward of your budget. Working with me is like having an old friend who gets you and has your back. My services are ideal for people who know what they like and connect with our aesthetic values, but don’t have the time or energy to design their homes themselves.

How much will it cost to hire a Colorado interior designer?

Your investment depends on the scope and depth of your project.Whether we’re collaborating on a full-home furnishing plan, a comprehensive new build, or a one-time consultation, I tailor each proposal to reflect the specific needs and complexity of the work.

Consulting engagements begin at $500/hour, while full-scope design projects start at $20,000. Once we understand your goals, I’ll provide a customized proposal that outlines both design fees and the investment required to bring your vision to life.

How long will my project take?

Each project has its own rhythm—shaped by scope, scale, and the pace of decision-making. Working with a Boulder interior designer on a full-service new build, renovation, or furnishing project may span several months to over a year, depending on what the home needs and how quickly we move through each phase together.

At Studio Strongwater, I manage the timeline with structure and intention, while allowing room for thoughtful choices and collaboration. Once the scope is defined, I’ll provide a tailored project timeline—and keep you clearly informed at every step.

How often will you communicate with me throughout the project?

Communication is key. I am adept at providing relevant updates on a consistent basis to make sure all parties (clients, contractors, vendors, etc) are always in lockstep. I also send weekly updates on the overall process—I want to make sure you can rest easy knowing you’re in good hands.

What if I want to incorporate furniture or rugs that I already own?

Fantastic! I love designing with existing pieces that are already a part of your personal landscape. (check out our soon-to-be-published blog on doing just that…) Everything you find beauty and meaning in will be essential when informing our overall design vision.
